Row NS is hosting Learn to Row (LTR) Coach workshop on Saturday, May 4th on zoom. The course schedule is as follows: 12:00pm - 5:00pm - Coursework via zoom 5:00pm - 6:00pm - Break 6:00pm - 9:00pm - Coursework via zoom This workshop is the entry into the RCA coach development pathway and is geared toward people interested in coaching learn to row lessons at clubs. The workshop content is intended to provide the coach with knowledge, skills and abilities to instruct learn to row sessions with beginners. The cost of the LTR Coach Workshop is $50 per person, paid by e-transfer to the email rowing@rowns.ca prior to the start of the workshop using the password "rowing". All registration can be completed using your NCCP and The Locker. If you do not have an NCCP number you must create an account to register. All participants in the LTR Coach Workshop must have the following prior to the workshop: – Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card (PCOC) – Making Ethical Decisions module – you can register for this course through Coaching Nova Scotia – NCCP Coach Initiation in Sport – an online module developed by the CAC and available through the Locker – RCA Rowing Essentials – An online module that is available through The Locker
